The Millionaire Mentor Reveals A Hidden Truth About Focusing On One Business Idea

When I first started in business I came up with a number of different ideas, each of them viable. At one time I was working on 8 projects at the same time.

All of them validated to make me money in the long term – but in the short term they weren’t doing too well.

It was at this point that I decided to seek out help from my mentor. What he told me has stuck to me…

The Millionaire Mentor Reveals A Hidden Truth

This secret alone is the reason for me to finally be able to do what I love, and make the kind of money that I want. But that’s not all.

I’m actually able to spend more time with the people I love, do things that I want to do, and have some serious cash in my bank. All from being nearly broke only 8 months ago.

I’m telling you this so you don’t make the same mistakes that I made.

I know how you feel at this point – you’re excited about all the projects, and can see the potential of each of them becoming a successful million dollar business.

Maybe even a multimillion dollar business for some of them…

And so you don’t want to let any one of them go… you don’t want to lose the opportunity of letting any of the projects die – but because of this fear something worse is happening…

Which is that none of the business ideas is really thriving… sure they might be alive, you might be trudging along… but none of them are really successful.

Therein lies the rub…

Should You Focus On One Project Or Start Multiple Businesses At The Same Time

Some multi-millionaires will tell you to start a lot of businesses at the same time.

Which is great advice if you’re already a multimillionaire, because you’re not really strapped for cash and  you can delegate a lot of the work, outsource, and then let the market truly validate which one is the most viable plan.

For the rest of us – you have to pick one and run with it.

If you don’t then you’ll end up exhausting yourself, dividing your energies, and focus and losing out on the big opportunities.

Think about it this way – the sun when it shines down on the earth doesn’t really light a fire. You have to run the sunlight through a magnifying glass to really focus it like a laser and then it will light up pretty much anything.

This is what will happen for your business when you pick one and then run with it.

Specially since they are all validated you won’t lose out anyway. So just pick one and then decide to spend all your time on this one business idea.

Develop this, think about it, focus on it, market it, and then do it all over again for this one business.

Don’t stop until you make this one business into a multi-million empire.

At that point think about starting another.

But until you get there – keep going on this one project.

And in the meantime if you come up with more ideas, write them down and file them. But work on one thing only, which leads to the next question…

How Do You Pick The One Business Out Of A Few Validated Ideas

If you have already validated your ideas then this is easier. Pick the one which had the best return on investment on your validation.

This sets you up for success faster.

Don’t think too much about this – just pick one and go for it.

Most of your learning and product development will happen by getting real feedback from your customers, not from sitting on the sidelines speculating what the customer thinks.

Finally, here’s what will happen when you do this.

Initially your mind will keep pulling you towards other ideas, telling you that the others might be better. You will second guess yourself constantly… but as you focus more and more on your idea, this feeling will go away.

Eventually you will only be focused on your one idea and develop it faster and further – this will help you get the results that you’re looking for and avoid the failures that were forming in your mind.
